PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOUND STERILE PREPARATIONS
Under the revised USP 797 regulation, Compounding Pharmacies are required to protect your products by utilizing a Class 100 laminar airflow workbench within a Cleanroom. Midwest Cleanroom Associates offers a controlled environment to meet these new regulations while providing the certification of a Clean room. We can offer a turn-key solution or modular design to meet your needs.

USP regulation 797 went into effect January 1, 2004 and calls for all health care institutions, pharmacies, physician?s practice facilities and other facilities in which compounded sterile preparations are prepared, stored and dispensed to utilize advanced cleanroom technology. The use of a ventilated hood for performing compounding of sterile preparations is no longer allowed. The new regulation is mandatory and enforceable—so now is the time to get compliant. Don't wait to get fined. You may purchase a copy of the USP 797 at website: http://store.usp.org.

All sterile compounding must be prepared in ISO Class 5 (Class 100) laminar airflow workbench (hood) located in ISO Class 7(Class 10,000) buffer room (Cleanroom).

The experts at Midwest Cleanroom Associates will help you answer your questions about equipment that complies with USP 797. Whether you need a small or large system, our specialists will find the best solution for your organization. Please contact Midwest Cleanroom Associates for your Compounding room needs.
